Central Coast Motorcycle Training, known as CCMT, provides the official California Motorcycle Training courses for street bike riders to all residents on California's scenic Central Coast. We serve all San Luis Obispo county, northern Santa Barbara county and southern Monterey county residents.

Our two motorcycle training sites are in Santa Maria and Paso Robles, California. We train over 1200 motorcyclists each year. The average age of our students is 45 years old. Approximately 1/3 are women.

We are one of the primary motorcycle training sites in the statewide California Motorcyclist Safety Program (CMSP). The CMSP is California's official motorcycle safety and training program, authorized by the state legislature and administered by the California Highway Patrol.

Our RiderCoaches are trained and certified by CMSP and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). They have completed 60 hours of CMSP/MSF instructor training and are regularly updated by the CMSP/MSF. Each Rider Coach has an extensive background in motorcycling and brings a wealth of experience to our program.

Our curriculum is approved by the CMSP and consists of two courses -- The Basic RiderCourse (BRC) and the Experienced RiderCourse (ERC). Both were developed by the MSF.
